I’m due exactly 1 week from today. On what will quite possibly be our last weekend as non-parents we went on a picnic in Rittenhouse Square. We thought about how we will bring our little one with us on a picnic later this Summer. It’s hard to believe how soon the baby’s arrival is. My next post could be announcing the birth.

Our last photoshoot before the baby will actually be in our arms.

This was my first Mother’s Day to celebrate (as a mother-to-be). Rich got me beautiful emerald and diamond earrings. Emerald is the May birthstone, representing the baby’s potential birthstone. As Rich told me, he took a risk, since the baby is due June 1st. But we think there’s a good chance the baby will come a little early, and if not, I will certainly be happy to accept pearls for June

We went to brunch at South Wark with my parents and my brother and his wife and then went to Franklin Fountain for milk shakes after. I ate way too much and I think I worked myself into a food coma, as I took a 2 hour nap when I got home.

Next Mother’s Day will be truly special when I have my little one with me, almost 1 year old.
