We created a registry for Beanie and we also listed brands/companies that we like for certain products.
We are planning to use mostly organic, toxic free and environmentally safe products. Things have changed over the years with chemicals and manufacturing, and we want to make sure everything that comes close our baby’s skin is as safe as possible. Due to the recent toy/product recalls from China we are being very cautious. We would also like to support companies who make the effort to meet these higher standards.
We are okay with non-organic blankets, toys, bedding, etc. so long as they have no dyed/painted plastic buttons, beads, etc. attached to them if they are made in China. Regarding toys, especially if plastic, we’d prefer not to have anything made in China, unless purchased from our registry – where we know the products meet the highest safety standards.
